The Bellevue Hospital offers American Red Cross Bloodmobiles several times throughout the year. The bloodmobiles are held from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the The Bellevue Hospital's Burson Conference Room, located at the hospital's 1400 W. Main Street facility in Bellevue.
To donate, you need to weigh between 110-350 pounds, be at least 17 years old, be in general good health, and be feeling well the day of the blood drive. A person can donate blood every 56 days. The American Red Cross needs approximately 250 donors-a-day to supply the blood needs for 18 northwest Ohio hospitals.
The Red Cross is in specific need of O-negative blood (universal donor), but all blood donors are welcome and accepted.
