An ATM machine is conveniently located in the 1st floor south hallway between the vending machines and Main Station Café.

Gift Shop
The Bellevue Hospital's Gift Shop has a variety of unique and special items. For the convenience of patients and visitors the Gift Shop sells fresh flowers, postage stamps and newspapers. The Gift Shop hours are listed below:

Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hospital.

Cards and letters are delivered to patients on weekdays. Friends and relatives should address mail as follows:

If we receive patient mail after a patient is discharged, we will forward the mail.
Main Station Café
Visitors may use the hospital cafeteria located on the first floor during the following serving times:
Monday - Friday
Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:45 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Dinner: 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Weekends and Holidays
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Coffee and tea are available in the Main Station Café.
If you are visiting a patient, room service meals are also available to you for a fee. Please ask the nursing services for additional information.
Newspapers
Newspaper vending boxes are located in the east patient entrance. The Sandusky Register is for sale.
Pastoral Care
If you would like to arrange for a visit from a member of the clergy, or to have someone contact a member of your own clergy, please contact your nurse. An interfaith chapel is also located on the second floor Atrium area.
Parking
Parking is permitted in any area except those marked for emergency use, reserved or handicapped. Please observe traffic signs for the safety of all.
Personal Items
Patients may bring pajamas, robe, slippers and toiletry items. It is recommended that all valuables stay at home. Dentures, glasses and hearing aids are important for patients to have while in the hospital. We ask special attention is given to keep them safe when not in use. The Bellevue Hospital is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings.
Registration and Pre-Registration
We would like your visit to be as smooth and as quick as possible. If you would like to pre-register for your visit, please call a day or two ahead of time and we will be glad to help. When calling to pre-register or coming in to register, please bring your current insurance information and a driver's license with you. If you have already pre-registered, you just need to stop at the front desk and sign the appropriate consent forms and we will scan your insurance and driver's license.

Smoking and Tobacco Use
The Bellevue Hospital is an entirely tobacco-free facility and campus. This policy is in effect at all times, on The Bellevue Hospital owned and leased property. All internal and external areas, parking lots, entrances and exits, and hospital vehicles are included in this policy.
*Nicotine replacement therapy options and smoking cessation classes are offered through our Cardiopulmonary Department.
Social Services
Social work services are available if you have any questions about discharge needs or other social work issues. Please ask your nurse to contact social services for you, or dial 419.483.4040, Ext. 4367.
Special Needs and Interpreter Services
To meet the special needs of patients and visitors with hearing impairment, visual impairment, or language barriers, the hospital offers printed educational materials, closed-caption television and a TYY phone line 419.484.5990.
Sign language and foreign language interpreters are also available free of charge.
Specialty Coffee Station
Located on the first floor near the patient (east) entrance. Station hours are listed below and are subject to change:

Telephone and Cell Phones
Our patients need their rest while they are staying in our facility and we request you to limit calling patients after 9:00 p.m. Between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., incoming calls for patients will be connected to the patient's nursing station. Outgoing calls may be made at any time. Patients may place local outgoing calls at no charge. Long-distance calls should be charged to a credit card, calling card or home telephone number.
Cell phones may be used in all public areas of the hospital including hallways, lobbies, public waiting areas and the café.
Television Services
Television services are provided free of charge for our patients. We also have provided televisions in various locations throughout the facility.
Vending Machines
24-hour vending machines are available in the west hallways near the Main Station Café and in the Emergency Department waiting room.
Visiting Hours
Rest is important for recovery and we understand the importance of visitors during a hospital stay. The patient's physician and medical staff may limit or restrict visiting hours and the patient may also request no visitors. Please check at the nurses station if you have any questions about the visiting hours or limitations the patient may have.
General visiting hours: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Wheelchairs are available at each of our entrances. Please let us know if you need additional assistance.
