Paid Time Benefits

Everyone needs time away from work, whether it is a planned vacation or an unexpected absence due to an illness.  The Bellevue Hospital offers the following generous paid time off benefits to our part and full-time team members.

 

Vacation

You begin to accrue vacation hours on your first day with us and can begin to use these hours after 90 days of employment.  Full-time team members can accrue up to 240 hours of vacation and part-time can accrue up to 160 hours of vacation.  Vacation hours are earned on the following schedule:

1 to 4 years =  2 weeks
5 to 9 years =  3 weeks
10 to 14 years =  4 weeks
15 years =  5 weeks
16 years =  5 weeks and one day
17 years =  5 weeks and two days
18 years =  5 weeks and three days
19 years =  5 weeks and four days
20 years = 6 weeks 

 

Holiday

Full-time team members receive 64 hours of holiday time annually.  When a TBH recognized holiday is worked, full-time team members are paid a 1 1/2 times their base rate and part-time team members are paid at 2 times their base rate.

 

Sick Time

You begin to accrue sick time on your first day with us and can begin to use these hours after 90 days of employment.  Full-time team members can accrue up to 720 hours of sick time and part-time team members can accrue up to 360 hours.  Sick time can be used not only for your own illness but also for office visits for routine preventative exams.

 

Bereavement

Provides continuous income in the event of the death of certain family members.

 

Jury Duty Pay

The Bellevue Hospital will compensate your missed wages when summoned for jury duty on a regularly scheduled work day.
