Community Garden

The 2023 growing season for The Bellevue Hospital’s (TBH) Community Garden has come to an end, but it was a very successful year! All produce harvested from the garden was donated to local charities.

In its 12th year, the Community Garden project is a co-partnership between TBH and the City of Bellevue. All produce grown in the garden is donated to Bellevue Fish and Loaves, Clyde Backdoor Food Pantry and God's Caring Ministries to help feed the hungry in local communities.

With the help of several volunteers and Master Gardners, over five tons of produce has been grown and donated over the past ten years. A wide variety of fruits and vegetables have been grown in the garden over the last several years including green beans, wax beans, onions, asparagus, sweet potatoes, popcorn, squash, cucumbers, rhubarb, cabbage, peppers, okra, eggplant, carrots, strawberries, a variety of lettuce and greens and an array of herbs.
