Accreditations & Certifications
- The Joint Commission
- Our hospital, Laboratory and Home Health Department are accredited by The Joint Commission, which consists of the American College of Physicians, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, American Dental Association and the American Hospital Association.
- Mammography Accreditation
- The Bellevue Hospital’s Mammography Department received approval of the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). The mammography department is also accredited through the FDA and the American College of Radiology(ACR).
- Nuclear Medicine
- The Bellevue Hospital’s Nuclear Medicine Department is accredited by ICANL (Intersocietal Commission for Accreditation of Nuclear Laboratories).
- Diagnostic Imaging
- The American College of Radiology (ACR) accredited Diagnostic Imaging in Obstetrics, Gynecological and General Ultrasound, CT Scan, and MRI for three years.
- Cardiac Rehab Program
- The American Association of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation certified the hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Program.
- American Diabetes Association
- The Diabetes Self-Management Education program has been certified by the American Diabetes Association.
- NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders)
- The Bellevue Hospital is a NICHE Designated Hospital, 2012-2013-2014-2015-2016.
