The Bellevue Hospital (TBH) Foundation’s sixth annual Dr. Elbert Lawrence Classic Car, Motorcycle & Truck Show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5. The event begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m. at The Bellevue Hospital, located at 1400 W. Main Street in Bellevue. Proceeds from the event will benefit healthcare programming for women and children.
Classic car, motorcycle and truck owners are invited to attend a day filled with nostalgic vehicles, food, prizes, and fun. The vehicles will be on display in the south parking lot area.
Also on Oct. 5, a Health & Craft Fair will be held in the hallways of the hospital, with dozens of local and area vendors on display. And, the fourth annual “Is Your Heart Set on a Vette” Corvette Raffle will also kick-off on Oct. 5 with public ticket sales. Top prize in the raffle is a 2014 Corvette Stingray or $50,053 in cash.
The day will begin with the Dr. D. Ross Irons Memorial 5K Run/Walk at 8 a.m. The course will be flat, out and back. Race day registration begins at 7 a.m. and is $25 (does not include shirt). All proceeds will benefit TBH’s Women’s Mammography Fund which supplies screening mammograms for uninsured or underinsured individuals.
