- The First National Bank team shot a 58 to win the Mixed Flight Division in a scorecard playoff.
The 39th Annual Foundation Golf Outing of The Bellevue Hospital (TBH) was held on July 24 at Green Hills Golf Course in Clyde, with the proceeds to benefit the Hospital Foundation.
“I would personally like to thank all of the individuals, groups, and businesses who supported our golf outing this year,” commented Dennis Sabo, TBH Foundation Director. “This outing has long been a very successful event because of those people. Also, a big thank you to Green Hills and the Crockett family, all of my TBH volunteers and co-workers, and to our employees for all of the support.”
The foursome from Home Savings Bank shot a 17-under-par 54 to take Open Flight honors in the outing. Members of the winning team were Scott Beck, Brandon Dauer, Rick Hull and John Prelac.
The First National Bank team shot a 13-under-par 58 to win the Mixed Flight Division in a scorecard playoff. Members of the team were Tom Barth, Ceilia Fitzgerald, Jim Fitzgerald and Dean Miller.
Prizes were awarded during the dinner to the following winners. First place teams won $400 each, followed by $200 for second place teams and $100 to third place teams.
Open Division: First place (54) – Home Savings Bank; second place (56) – TEAM Health; third place (59) – Alta Partners.
Mixed Division: First place (58 scorecard playoff) – First National Bank; second place (58) – Torrence Sound, who generously donated their winnings back to the Foundation; third place (59) – Buckeye Medical, Inc.
Field prize winners for closest to pin 2nd shot, closest to the pin tee shot, closest to the pond (not in) from tee shot, longest drives, and longest putts were also awarded.
Door prize ticket holders had a wide variety of items they could win, thanks in large part to generous door prize donors. Door prize items included: two Cleveland Indians baseball ticket packages donated by Chris Caputo; a Coleman Cooler donated by Edward Jones and Cleveland Indians tickets donated by TBH employee Dan Blystone; a decorative bird cage with essential oil diffuser donated by International Metal Hose; a 55-inch flat screen TV donated by E&M Consulting Raymond James; a hand-carved knife created by Mike Allen of Bellevue, donated by Bone Boys BBQ & Catering; a golf bag and umbrella donated by Emrhein & Associates and The Bellevue Hospital Foundation; a decorative beach-themed basket donated by Bellevue Care Center and beach sunglasses donated by Advanced Family Eyecare; a Grillsmith propane fryer donated by Town & Country RV Center; a Filtrete Water System donated by Bellevue ACE Hardware and a $50 gift card donated by The Bellevue Hospital Foundation; and a wine basket and lawn folding chair donated by Croghan Colonial Bank and Home Savings Bank.
