The 36th Annual Foundation Golf Outing of The Bellevue Hospital (TBH) was held on July 13 at Green Hills Golf Course in Clyde, with the event raising over $28,000 to benefit the Hospital Foundation.
“I would personally like to thank all of the individuals, groups, and businesses who supported our golf outing this year,” commented Dennis Sabo, TBH Foundation Director. “This outing has long been a very successful event because of those people. Also, a big thank you to Green Hills and the Crockett family, all of my TBH volunteers and co-workers, and to our employees for all of the support.”
The foursome from E&M Raymond James shot a 17-under-par 54 to take Open Flight honors in the outing, winning on a scorecard playoff over the second place team, Northwest Ohio Shared Services. Members of the winning team were Tim Eyerman, Alex Intihar, Tom Harrison and Dave Long.
The Buckeye Medical, Inc. team shot a 13-under-par 58 to win the Mixed Flight Division. Members of the team were Marianne Schoen, Jeff Kashian, Todd Moore and Tim Phillips.
Prizes were awarded during the dinner to the following winners. First place teams won $400 each, followed by $200 for second place teams and $100 to third place teams.
Open Division: First place (54) – E&M Consulting Raymond James: Tim Eyerman, Alex Intihar, Tom Harrison and Dave Long (no prize money award, donated back to Foundation); second place (56) – Northwest Ohio Shared Services; third place (56) – HPA Insurance.
Mixed Division: First place, (58) – Buckeye Medical, Inc.: Marianne Schoen, Jeff Kashian, Todd Moore and Tim Phillips; second place (59) – Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy; third place (65) – Janet & Bob Runner foursome.
Field prize winners for closest to pin 2nd shot, closest to the pin tee shot, longest drives, and longest putts were also awarded.
Door prize ticket holders had a wide variety of items they could win, thanks in large part to generous door prize donors. Door prize items included: a flat screen TV donated by E&M Consulting Raymond James; four Indians baseball tickets including parking pass donated by Twin Lakes Golf Course & Restaurant; sunglasses donated by Advanced Family Eyecare; an Apple iPad Air donated by CDW; an Adirondack folding chair donated by ACE Hardware; and a tool vault donated by Whirlpool Corporation.
