Coma Communication

Learn how to work with people in remote states, such as coma, confusion, delirium, deep depression, Alzheimer’s and near-death. Techniques taught in this training improve the support and care given to these patients by helping them become more aware of themselves and their experiences. This specific kind of support has been shown to help individuals’ complete unfinished business, make spiritual connections and do their work. (Stein Hospice Brochure, 2016). Class will be held in The Bellevue Hospital Burson Conference Room. The free class is open to the public, and nurses and social workers needing contact hours. Class offers: Free Nursing CE and Social Worker Clock Hours, 1 hour. For more information, call the Education Department at 419.483.4040, Ext. 4530.
